WASTE CARRIER INFORMATION

Responsible waste handling and your duty of care

Customers are entitled to ask where their waste will go and who is authorised to move it. Confirm the carrier registration and appropriate waste transfer documentation before booking.

Check the official waste registers

For an English registration, use the Environment Agency waste carrier register. For Welsh registrations, use Natural Resources Wales. Search using the registered business name or exact number. Do not rely on a logo or unverified badge.

Waste carrier registration number

The business-specific registration number has not been added to this website because it has not yet been supplied and checked. Ask us for the correct legal entity and registration details before handing over any waste.

Duty-of-care records

When relevant commercial non-hazardous waste changes hands, the businesses involved generally need a waste transfer note or equivalent paperwork. Domestic occupiers have a narrower duty to ensure waste goes to an authorised person; they normally do not need to keep a transfer note.

Excluded and hazardous materials

Asbestos, chemicals, fuel, pressurised cylinders, certain electrical goods and other hazardous materials can require specialist removal or treatment. Describe any unusual materials early so the correct legal route can be assessed.

Insurance and the disposal destination

Request evidence of suitable insurance and ask how materials will be delivered to authorised facilities. Do not assume every item can be recycled or that all waste types are accepted.
